Terms of Service

Effective date: April 1, 2026

These Terms govern your use of EZBiz, operated by BL Home Services (Billy Wyatt Lawson, ABN 72 262 733 633).

Ownership and License

The platform, code, branding, and content are owned by Billy Wyatt Lawson and/or BL Home Services. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is active.

Acceptable Use

  • You must provide accurate account details and keep credentials secure.
  • You must not misuse the service, bypass security, or use the platform for unlawful activity.
  • You are responsible for records, tax treatment, and communications sent through your account.

Platform Role and Merchant Responsibility

EZBiz provides software, document generation, workflow automation, and payment integration tooling. Unless we are directly billing you for an EZBiz subscription, we are not the merchant of record for goods or services sold by subscribers using the platform. Each subscriber business is solely responsible for its invoices, client work, refunds, taxes, fulfilment, and customer obligations.

Billing, Refunds, and Cancellation

EZBiz subscription billing is managed through Stripe where applicable. Subscription fees are generally billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law, where a duplicate or incorrect platform charge occurred, or where we approve a refund in writing. You may cancel recurring plans at any time, and access continues through the paid period unless otherwise stated. Refunds for subscriber-issued invoices or payment requests must be handled by the subscriber business that issued the invoice.

Disputes and Chargebacks

Customers disputing a subscriber-issued invoice or card charge must first contact the subscriber business shown on the invoice or payment request. The subscriber business is responsible for transaction evidence, service delivery records, and dispute responses. EZBiz may provide platform records where appropriate but is not a party to the underlying contract between the subscriber and their customer.

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. It does not constitute legal, tax, or accounting advice. You should seek qualified professional advice for compliance decisions.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BL Home Services and its personnel from third-party claims arising from your use of the platform, your invoices or payment requests, your goods or services, your tax treatment, your customer disputes, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our own fraud, wilful misconduct, or non-excludable legal obligations.

Liability Limit

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude indirect, consequential, special, and loss-of-profit damages, and our total liability for claims arising from the service is limited to the amount paid by you to us for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

Service Availability

We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance, outages, or third-party provider disruptions may occur.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and disputes are subject to the courts of Victoria.
